Sales/Customer Support Administrator

Department: Customer Support
Reports To: Customer Support Manager
Salary: £13.00 per hour

Overall Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales / Customer Support Administrator to support the Customer Support Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient sales order processing, excellent customer service, and effective administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process sales orders and complete all associated administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle inbound customer calls regarding quotations, order progress, and complaints in a polite and professional manner.
  • Respond to customer emails promptly, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Resolve basic customer issues and escalate more complex cases where necessary.
  • Review internal stock requirements and place orders as required.
  • Carry out general administrative duties to support the effective operation of the department.
  • Monitor and assist with departmental KPIs.
Skills & Experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet use.
  • Strong communication skills with professional telephone and email etiquette.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
  • High level of accuracy in data input.
  • A strong team player.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
