Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 38 Hours per Week | Monday to Thursday

Taylor Blackwood Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company.

The Role
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Press Brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components while ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up and operating Press Brake machinery
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Selecting the correct tooling and machine settings
  • Loading, positioning, and aligning materials accurately
  • Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
  • Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment
  • Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
  • Working as part of the production team to meet deadlines
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
  • Previous Press Brake operating experience (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good understanding of health & safety within a manufacturing environment
  • A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
